Wolf Parade / At Mount Zoomer (2008)
Thought I post this quickly as not many places have it up, but this means I myself haven't listened to it yet. Tell me what it's like...

Mewithoutyou / Brother, Sister (2006)
Way underrated album by an awesome band. The album never received the attention it deserves, so I hoping you at least give it a chance. I am having a hard time trying to pinpoint their sound with descriptive words. I think the best I can do is spoken-word/yelled with a slight and simple melody backed by post-hardcore guitars. Don't judge them by this description though. Mewithoutyou gets thrown into the emo scene for some reason I can't think of, so don't judge them by the bands they usually tour with either. And the lyrics are incredible. Give it a chance- it will grow on you. And see them live if you can!

Yeasayer / All Hour Cymbals (2007)
I thought I would continue posting some of my favorites. This was one of my favorite albums of last year. From sitars to droning bass riffs, these guys craft songs that will be sung for awhile.

Yeasayer / Tight Rope
An awesome unreleased track from Yeasayer on a Take Away Show that is worth posting. I've heard their normal live version of this song and this one might actually be better.

The Ruby Suns / Sea Lion (2008)
This is a really enjoyable album that caught my attention with "Tane Mahuta", but cannot be judged by that track alone, nor any track alone. They stretch their sound from laid back lo-fi rock to mariachi quartet but still keep a world beat-tribal undertone throughout. The New Zealand band's delightful tunes seem to be bringing in the warm weather.
